Esteemed partners, including the Max-Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, Max-Planck-Institute for Chemistry, California Institute of Technology with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Carnegie Institution for Science, and Columbia University, bring unparalleled expertise and commitment to this groundbreaking initiative.
Steering Board
Our Steering Board consists of representatives from each partner institution, aiming at a balanced representation of all involved partners and research fields.
Besides our Steering Board, the Principal Investigators from each institution build the core of the center. They are leading the different work packages, supervise PhDs and PostDocs and foster collaboration between the partners. The PI’s are grouped by institution and listed in alphabetical order.
The day-to-day work of the Center is coordinated by two members of the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry. If you have any questions about the Center, please contact Dora Kelemen.
The MC³ 4 Earth Center is a collaboration of the Max-Planck Institute of Biogeochemistry, Max-Planck-Institute for Chemistry, California Institute of Technology, Carnegie Institution for Science (Department of Global Ecology) and Columbia University. It's coordination and Max-Planck research is funded by the Max Planck Förderstiftung.
